It is 100 years since the Russian Revolution and we are very happy to be gearing up for a whole summer of Russian related events.

First up, I will be introducing the film OLEG AND THE FINE ARTS at London’s CALVERT 22 Gallery on July 13th. It is a wonderful documentary about the recently deceased extraordinary and strange Oleg Nikolayevich Karavaychuk (born 1927) who played the piano for Stalin as a child prodigy and in the course of his career primarily wrote music for theatre and film. In Russia, he was admired for his music and his playing, but also for his unique and eccentric personality. Details HERE

Then on July 27th I will be at PUSHKIN HOUSE in London for an X-Ray Audio live event. I will be telling the story of the Soviet Cold War Era Bootleggers and we will be cutting a new X-ray record live from a very special musical performance by a mystery guest. You have been warned. Details HERE

In August we wil be moving to Moscow where our X-Ray Audio exhibition will be installed at GARAGE MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART through to October. On August 16th we will be hosting a live X-RAY CABARET with incredible musical guests and your truly.
